An extremely rare and elusive Longines ref.6401 wristwatch made in the early 1950s. 18k Yellow gold waterproof case. Longines cal.22AS self-winding movement. Tri-tonnal gold, silver and black textured dial, dauphine hands and applied index. The watch is mounted on a generic black lacquered bracelet. Comes with an email from Longines archives department, confirming delivery of this watch to their agent in Yemen in 1955.

Condition report :

• Dial – The dial is in very good condition, shows light marks on its center.
• Case – The case is in good condition, one noticeable dent on the counter crown side, the top left lug is slightly bent, the crown looks like a replacement and the back is highly polished.
