1930s Alpina Oversize Chronograph
An ultra rare and important Alpina chronograph wristwatch made in the 1930s. Stainless steel case. Manual winding Minerva cal.16-29 Alpina signed movement. Black glossy dial with white tachymeter scale, “Breguet” painted index and white hands.
Only another example housed in a slightly different case (of the same diameter) and with the same dial has surfaced on the market a few years ago, it is safe to say this is an extremely rare watch and an important addition to any serious collection.
Plexiglas – 40mm diameter w/o crown – 20mm bracelet width.
