1960s Auricoste Type 20 MKII Civilian
A magnificient and extremely rare Auricoste Type 20 “2nd Generation civilian” chronograph wristwatch made in the 1960s. Stainless steel waterproof case, with rotating bezel. Manual winding Auricoste signed Lemania 2040 flyback movement. Glossy black dial with sub registers at 3 and 9, painted index and syringe hands.
Recently re-edited by Auricoste this watch is probably the rarest of the French Air Force chronographs from the 1960s (although being unassigned), but above being rare it is truly one of the most beautiful military watches ever. Finding one can be a real challenge, but finding one in this condition is a real miracle. Considering this I have a feeling these watches will command a much higher price in the next years so get it before you regret it.
Plexiglas – 38,5mm diameter w/o crown – 20mm bracelet width.
