A mythical and very well preserved Jaeger-leCoultre Futurematic “porthole” reference E502 made in the 1950s. Stainless steel case. Self-winding movement cal.817. Silver dial with seconds and power reserve windows at 6 and 9. Silver indices and dauphine silver hands. Mounted on a generic steel bracelet.
What a joy to be able to offer on our website the mythical JLC ref.E502, the porthole Futurematic is probably one of the most collectable JLC vintage watches in history. Produced in 3500 examples it is believed that no more than 500 were used for the European market using the JLC signature instead of LeCoultre” for the US market. How many survived in good condition? This is a truly truly top collectors watches and an opportunity not to be missed… “find me another one!”
